Our Adoption Process

For us, the single most important factor is that the whole family loves our cats and kittens and that they become part of your family. Also that you live in a safe place (so that the cat will be indoor/outdoor or indoor only) and that new parents can afford private vet care.

We rescue these cats and kittens mainly from situations where they didn’t get proper nutrition or vet care, therefore, after we bring them back to good health, we can't home them back into a similar situation . The reality is that pet care costs money and affordability of private vet care is essential.  All our kittens and cats are sterilised, microchipped, tested for FIV (Feline AIDS) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and have had their 1st vaccinations. The adoption fee of R1100.00 per kitten or cat covers the above. If you want to adopt 2 kittens then we will appreciate it if you can pay the full fee of R2,200, but we can offer a discounted adoption fee of R2,000 for two kittens or cats (adopted at the same time), should the need arise.

PROCESS

If you see our kittens in our FB Group, and one or more of them pulls your heart strings; please contact us and we will make an appointment for you and your family to come and visit your future kitten, kittens or cat, and we will send you our basic questionnaire (download document in the link below). If this is your baby we will do a home-check and ask you to sign the adoption form and pay the adoption fee. We will register the microchip on your name.
